Bartrams Brewery Tenth Anniversary - 4th July 2009

2009 and Bartrams Brewery will have been in existence for ten years so it seem like a good time to celebrate ... we are going to have a party!!!

John Agnew has kindly agreed to let us have the use of the Rougham Airfield on the fourth of July so we are going to have a day of food, music and ... beer! Lots of local musicians will be on hand to entertain. I hope some of my Morris Dancing chums will come and strut their stuff, and Luke's circus performing pals will enthrall us with their feats.

If you want an invite then get in touch through the website, will also be advertising at the Bury St Edmunds, Cambridge and Stowmarket beer festivals ... a date for the diary!

Action for Brazil's Children

Jimmy Page with Luke Bartram (right) and friend Dan (left)

We here at Bartrams Brewery are nothing if not ahead of the field when it comes to trend setting rocking teenage combos, here is Eric Clapton, principle trombonist with 'Girls Allowed' ... okay, okay ... we got involved with doing bars for the Action for Brazil's Children charity, (A.B.C.) set up by Jimena Page, wife of Sir Jimmy Page. I had the good fortune to shake the hand that created some of the greatest riffs in Rock history Led Zeppelin

Luke, (son, a.k.a. trainee brewer) is the one with the hair, Dan, a friend, has less ... Jimmy is the one in the middle, I am holding the camera.
